仕事内容

As a Director of Sales, you will report to the Country Manager in our Tokyo Office and provide direction to your Team of 5-7 Account Executives (AEs). You will lead sales growth plans, build relationships with clients and ensure customer satisfaction for us. An essential aspect of this role is the ability to support a diverse team of successful AEs and develop them as the first line managers.

● Build a Sales organization able to grow business with existing customers, and close new opportunities new customers
● Promote the working relationships with the direct and indirect sales channels, marketing, sales engineering, and our business development (outbound) teams
● Create a vision for the sales organization by creating a strategic roadmap to attain your metrics
● Continue to grow your team in partnership with Recruiting, with a focus on building a diverse group of talent
● Provide focused mentoring increase individual skills and sales
● Report on metrics to measure performance of Sales activities
● Help develop sales proposals, configurations and pricing strategies that bring new clients to us

必要な経験・能力

【必須(MUST)】

Required 20+ years of progressive sales experience in the IT/Software industries with leading sales teams as the second line manager
● Required 10+ years of experience in high touch sales and sales management in platform software and/or business application field with those experience in SaaS for 3+ years
● Experience as the 2nd line manager of sales in expanding and developing a sales organization while training 1st line managers.
● Form deep partnerships with the other functional business leaders across the organization to ensure synergistic collaboration of our teams
● Accomplish successful negotiations and close difficult and large contracts
● Develop sales, business, and vertical market plans
● Your teams produce revenue and exceed quota
● Manage processes for recognizing, qualifying, and closing new business/territory
● You're known for an executive presence that allows you connect with our customers across industries
● Curiosity - you are always asking ”what else can our product do and how can we show our customers?”
● You can manage your function of the organization including goals, budget, strategy and you succeed with forecasts.
● Excellent presentation skills as well as fluency in Japanese and business level English
