仕事内容

As the Global Key Account Manager, you proactively identify and grow opportunities within defined accounts, and collaborate with global and regional sales teams to ensure growth attainment. You forecast and track key account metrics including revenue, whilst proactively leading a joint company strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one, three and five year period.

Other tasks we expect will fill up your calendar are:
・Clearly communicating the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders within HQ locations in Japan and to drives business to ** from target customer manufacturing locations outside Japan in APAC, Americas and EMEA.
・Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
・Meeting and exceeding assigned targets for sales volume and strategic objectives in your accounts
・Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
・Identifying and communicating the competitive landscape
・Assisting with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed

Additionally, you proactively and clearly assess, define and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis, translating them into commercial and technical requirements. Furthermore, you coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to exceed account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.

必要な経験・能力

【必須(MUST)】

・Minimum of 10 years in a business leadership role with proven successes
・Business and Technical fluency in Japanese and English
・Proven account management or other relevant experience. Automotive industry experience is a core requirement
・Demonstrated experience in delivering client focused solutions based on customer needs
・Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
・Excellent verbal and written communications skills

【歓迎(WANT)】

Ideally, you come with a bachelor's degree or equivalent, majoring in Economics, Marketing, Business or Engineering in addition to an MBA or EMBA in Management or a related field. You demonstrate an ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C level.

・Multilingualism, specifically fluency in Korean and or Chinese
・Working experience in a larger MNC
・Existing relationships with Japan Tier 1 Automotive companies
・Previous work experience within the capital equipment industry
・In this role, you can expect up to 50% travelling, primarily within Japan and intra Asia and periodically to Europe and Americas.
